INGENIA INSTITUTE

Ingenia comes from the Latin word Ingenium, meaning innate character, talent, nature.

Our Vision

No two students learn exactly the same. Nor do they have the same interests. Parents should be able to tailor their child's education to help them develop their unique talents. Each child should be able to pursue their real interests, work at their own pace, and develop a love of learning. To do this, many parents turn to homeschooling, where they take it upon themselves to direct their child's education.

Many parents still want classroom opportunities for their children, but on their own terms. Not all parents feel qualified to teach Calculus or Shakespeare, and must search hours or drive far to meet those needs. Parents need an easy way to get collaboration, classes, and tutoring for their children.

Teachers also have their hands bound. In schools, they must comply to curriculum and standards the administration has set. Despite knowing that different methods or content will change the lives of their students, they must comply. Educators of all types need a forum to implement all new pedagogical studies immediately, without the politics and bureaucracy of the Department of Education pre-approving it.

It is our goal at Ingenia Institute to satisfy these needs in a way never before done. We want to create a center for students to have learning experiences based on their interests. Would your child like to learn programming? Entrepreneur classes? How about History classes taught from primary source documents instead of textbooks? Interested in the latest self-exploration learning program? Anything and everything could be available in a one-stop shop at Ingenia Institute's Educational Marketplace.

We also offer relief for educators. Do you run a homeschool academy that can't find consistent or appropriate space to rent? Are you a teacher fed up with the public schooling system and want to truly help in meaningful ways? Are you in a homeschooling co-op that just wants good space to collaborate with other parents? Are you already an enrichment provider and want extra exposure? You can come to us and find success. We're here to help.

While we do not have a center yet, funding is under way to secure a location. Once this happens, we will be soliciting in full force for educational entrepreneurs to rents space at our learning mall!

We would love to have your expertise, whether it is offering classes, tutoring, counseling, or helping with Ingenia Institute Administration.
